Walking

The natural setting of Skerries, amid a rolling countryside and a vibrant sea, is a walkers dream. Every trail and path in Skerries inevitably has views of the sea and surrounding landscape. The 2.5-kilometre long South Beach is a sandy walk between the Irish Sea and the seaside town. You can also walk from the South Beach along a sand bank to Shenick Island during the low tide, if you are feeling adventurous and are a good swimmer as tides can change quickly. As an alternative to walking out to Shenick Island, as well as St. Patrick
